Nairobi the city has approximately four million residents with at least half these living below the poverty line in expanding slums. The fact that wealthy and poverty stricken live shoulder to shoulder in Nairobi is one of the many anomalies and contradictions that is modern Kenya.
This outing allows you to experience, at a person level, the friendliness and hope of the people who live below the poverty line in one of the second largest slum in Africa.

Discuss the situation of those struggling to survive with aid workers from local non-governmental organisations as you visit their activities of assistance.

Days the outing is possible: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Note: Costs include host/guide and transport to and from your hotel.  The money collected from this excursion tour is used to assist an informal primary school situated in this location.
